🎲 A New Game Jam Approaches...

Dear reader,

I hope you're doing well and hanging in there! I'm delighted to be back in your inbox today to tell you about what's been going on in my world.

New Game Jam!

• From December 1 to February 28, I'm running the Mutual Aid TTRPG Jam on itch.io. Join us to explore ways to design games inspired by values of mutual aid and community care, and raise funds for your local mutual aid efforts!
• I've also set up a Discord server for Earthly Body and the upcoming jam — hop on in and chat!

Game Design & Writing Updates

• I released a new keepsake game called Offerings, which won a micro-grant from Bannerless Games (which will pay for more beautiful custom art by my dear friend Anna-Rose Schenerman). It's currently available for free in playtest form!
• My game Colossal will be exhibited at The Vestibule from December 12-21 as part of The Game Show — my first gallery showing. If you're in the Seattle area, check it out and let me know how it is!
• Print copies of Your Friend in Witchcraft are now available through Indie Press Revolution — a perfect gift for a friend you want to keep in touch with!
• I'm getting to the end of another go at National Novel Writing Month — for anyone who hasn't heard of this before, it's a challenge to write 50,000 words of a novel during the month of November! I never win, but I love trying.

Things I've Loved Recently

• Drinking warm apple cider in the afternoon
• Watching The Great British Sewing Bee and dreaming up new things to sew
• Reading some spooky fantasy books, including What Stalks the Deep by T. Kingfisher, Cinder House by Freya Marske, and Katabasis by R.F. Kuang
• Watching my partner play through Silksong and trying to imitate all the bug noises
